 Manchester City has agreed to sell Brazilian defender Yan Couto to Borussia Dortmund.



Yan Couto, who has made four appearances for Brazil, has never featured in a match for Manchester City. The deal includes an initial loan to Dortmund with a €30 million (£25.3 million) obligation to buy.


Couto joined Manchester City in 2020 at the age of 19 but has yet to play a game for the club. He was first loaned to Girona, part of the City Football Group, for a year, and then spent two more seasons with them following a year at Portuguese side Braga. He helped Girona qualify for this season's Champions League.
