"From the Fashion World to a Spiritual Journey: How Áxel Pons Completely Changed His Life"

Áxel Pons, the former Moto2 rider and model, radically changed his life after leaving the racing and fashion worlds. Inspired by a spiritual quest, he decided to walk barefoot from Spain to Pakistan, a journey that takes 15 months and is still ongoing. The 33-year-old Spaniard said, "It's about going out and discovering who I am and what I want in life."

After retiring from motorcycle racing in 2018 and exploring fashion as a designer, Pons felt a void in his fast-paced life. In 2019, he traveled to India in search of a spiritual purpose. There, he found a path that led him to live simply, distancing himself from fame and materialism. In a recent interview, he stated, "The meaning is in appreciating the details of life."

The change was profound: his appearance is unrecognizable, and despite the injuries to his feet, they do not stop his mission. Pons emphasizes that the slow pace allows him to appreciate life and find a connection with God. He concluded by saying, "Walking is our way of praying."
